Haitham Ghoniem is a highly accomplished individual. He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Environmental Studies and Research at Ain Shams University and holds a Bachelor of Business Commerce from the same institution. In 2012-2013, Haitham co-founded Dayret El Midan, a platform in Tahrir Square promoting youth expression and dialogue. He also played a key role in scrutinizing political candidates’ policies for accountability and transparency. As an Advisory Member in the Hazem Salah Abu Ismail Presidential Central Campaign (2011-2012), Haitham oversaw outreach efforts and coordinated between campaigns across Egypt. His philanthropic work includes co-founding “Building Future 4 all” (2005-2007) and launching the youth electronic newspaper “Mostakbalna” in 2006. Since 2013, Haitham has been a passionate human rights advocate, documenting violations, collaborating with organizations, and supporting psychological rehabilitation for detainees. His efforts include submitting reports to the UN and Amnesty International, communicating cases to media, and launching campaigns for kidnapped youth.
