Ömer Metehan Aynural completed his high school education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2014. In the same year, he started working as a research assistant at Istanbul University, Faculty of Law, Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedure. In 2017, he defended his thesis on “The Crime of Endangering Traffic Safety in the Context of Abstract Danger (Article 179/3 of the TCK)” and completed his master’s degree. Subsequently, he began his doctoral studies at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute. He actively participated in national and international projects such as Law Clinics and Digicrimjus, and played an active role in various national and international events including Turkish Criminal Law Days, Crime and Punishment Film Festival, and Dreiländerseminar.
