Volunteer Agreement of The Worldwide Lawyers Association

I hereby declare that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the followingterms:

• I will engage in volunteer activities in accordance with the mission and vision of theAssociation and will make efforts in line with these goals.
• I will behave in accordance with the standards and practices set by the Association; I will not make requests beyond my authority and responsibilities.
• I will not engage in any form of discrimination based on religion, language, race, sect, gender, social status, etc., in my interactions with the Association’s staff, othervolunteers, and individuals involved in activities; I will prioritize equality and respect.
• I will participate in the trainings and informational meetings organized by theAssociation during my volunteer period, and will provide regular communication andupdates when necessary.
• I will adhere to the time schedules and plans determined by the Association whenfulfilling my volunteer duties, and will inform the relevant parties in advance in case of any disruptions.
• I will take maximum care in ensuring the protection and confidentiality of personaldata during the activities; I will not share any information, photos, videos, audio, orsimilar materials related to the stakeholders of the Association on any platform without explicit consent, and will not contribute to their processing.
• I permit the Association to process the personal data required for volunteer activitiesin accordance with the law.
• I acknowledge that the Association does not organize events on behalf of anyreligious, political views, or institutions, and I will act in accordance with this principle.
• I will cooperate with responsible individuals to resolve any issues encountered duringactivities and will avoid acting individually.
• I will take all necessary precautions to prevent causing harm to the Association orthird parties, whether intentionally or by neglect; I will be personally responsible forany damages arising in case of negligence.
• I will not make any financial demands during my volunteer period, and understandthat this period does not create any legal employment relationship.
• I confirm that my health condition is suitable for performing volunteer activities, and in case of any risks, I will immediately inform the relevant individuals.
• I will comply with the Association’s information security policies and will be personallyresponsible for any damages arising from violations of these rules.
• I agree that visual and audio materials recorded by me or by the Association duringactivities may be used in corporate communications, and I will not make any claimsover such materials.
• In case of any damages arising from my personal fault during my volunteer activities, I acknowledge that the Association reserves the right to recover the damages fromme.
• I acknowledge that all matters under this agreement are subject to Turkish law, andin case of any dispute, the courts of Istanbul will have jurisdiction.
